FAQ - UNDERWATER
For Maternity Shoots, we can shoot in the comfort of your home’s private pool or we have arranged access to a private home pool setting. For Competitive Swimmers, I come to your Team Pool or we can confirm pool space at the Pleasant Hill Aquatics Park Pool. If you include a land portrait session as well, then the neighboring area is used. For maternity, your home and neighborhood is used for the studio and land setting.
What to expect (Swimming)
Our time together will be a light and fun workout. You will execute all strokes while I shoot from different angles. Lots of variables determine how awesome your photos are, most importantly your effort, type of pool and your ability to execute. Underwater swimming sessions take 1 hour.
What to expect (Maternity)
Our time together will get your body flowing. You will have the opportunity for a few wardrobe changes. Your session can include your husband, wife, partner and other children. Shooting will be based on little bursts of submersion and then giving you the opportunity to catch our breath, followed by a little added instruction from me. Maternity photoshoots will take up to 2 hours.
What to expect (Swim Teams Mini Sessions)
Swim Team shoots take place at the team pool. Each swimmer will swim a short distance: Fly, Back, Breast and Free. Each swimmer will get 5 minutes. For this session, I only shoot underwater. Pool access is limited to other swimmers. I offer three different levels of pricing based on the # of swimmers: 50+, 25-49 and Under 25 Swimmers. What’s not included: stylized studio editing, any strokes out of the water, studio setting portraits, turns or specific guaranteed shot. Date(s) are confirmed based on the size of the team.
